BEIJING, March 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region at 1055 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 104.9 km, was initially determined to be at 36.18 degrees north latitude and 71.40 degrees east longitude. ■
