HONG KONG, March 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 jolted Vanuatu region at 01:28:21 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 20.90 degrees south latitude and 173.80 degrees east longitude. ■
