MOSCOW, March 26 (Xinhua) -- The Russian Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft successfully docked with the International Space Station at 18:02 Moscow time (1502 GMT) on Monday, according to Russia's state space company Roscosmos.
Onboard the spacecraft was the 21st visiting expedition, including Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy, Belarusian spaceflight participant Marina Vasilevskaya and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson from the 71st long-duration expedition.
During the expedition, Novitskiy and Vasilevskaya are scheduled to spend 14 days in orbit before returning to Earth on April 6 aboard the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft, along with NASA astronaut Loral O'Hare.
As per the cross-flight agreement, Tracy Dyson will stay in space for 184 days and land on Sept. 23 aboard the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft.
In July 2022, as part of an International Space Station program, Roscosmos and NASA signed an agreement on cross-flights involving Russian cosmonauts on American Crew Dragon spacecraft and American astronauts on Russian Soyuz MS spacecraft. ■
