BEIJING, March 25 (Xinhua) -- "Anatomy of a Fall," an Oscar-winning crime drama, will be released on the Chinese mainland on Friday.
Directed by French director Justine Triet, the film tells the story of a woman under suspicion of murder following her husband's death, while their partially blind son faces a moral dilemma as the main witness.
In addition to winning the Oscar for best original screenplay, the film has also won the Palme d'Or at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, accumulating numerous awards and nominations worldwide.
During its preview screenings starting last Saturday, the film generated 1.04 million yuan (about 146,500 U.S. dollars) in box office revenue on the mainland, according to the China Movie Data Information Network. ■
