BEIRUT, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Palestinian groups in Lebanon detained on Friday several people involved in Israel's assassination of Hamas official Hadi Ali Mohammad Mustafa earlier this month, Palestinian and Lebanese security sources told Xinhua.
The sources, who spoke anonymously, said that Palestinian factions arrested two 18-year-old men in Lebanon's Rashidieh refugee camp, while they were placing a tracking device in the car of a relative of Mustafa.
The sources added that investigations with the two young Lebanese led to the capture of their employer, who worked as a mosque servant in Lebanon's southern city of Tyre. All detainees were handed over to Lebanese security agencies.
On March 13, an Israeli drone hit a civilian car driven by Mustafa with two air-to-surface missiles, killing him instantly along with another Syrian national. ■
