HONG KONG, March 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Java Sea, Indonesia at 0422 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 5.93 degrees south latitude and 112.33 degrees east longitude. ■
