CAIRO, March 22 (Xinhua) -- During Ramadan, which is observed by Muslims worldwide as a period of fasting, prayer, and reflection, desserts offer a vital energy replenishment after a day of fasting. Below are some of the popular traditional Ramadan desserts in the Middle East.
