SINGAPORE, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Singapore Air Force deployed two transport aircraft on Friday to deliver the third tranche of humanitarian aid to Gaza via Jordan, according to an announcement issued by the Ministry of Defense.
An A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport and a C-130 transport aircraft attended the mission, and the C-130 will conduct humanitarian airdrop operations at the invitation of the Jordanian government.
Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan will travel to Amman, Jordan's capital, to hand over the aid to the Jordanian government, the announcement added. ■
