JAKARTA, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Three teenage students were killed after their wooden boat capsized off in an inundated paddy field in the Indonesian regency of Kudus in Central Java province on Friday, police said.
Central Java police spokesman Stefanus Satake Bayu said the three teenagers, aged 14, 15 and 16 years old, died from drowning during bad weather. No marks of violence was found in their bodies after medical observations conducted by police and medical workers, he added.
Bayu also said two other teenagers survived the incident and were unable to rescue their friends. ■
