KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia, the world's second-largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil stocks drop in February amid lower crude palm oil (CPO) production, official data showed Monday.
The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) data showed that the country's palm oil inventories slipped 5 percent to 1.92 million tons in February from January.
Malaysia's CPO production also fell 10.18 percent month on month to 1.26 million tons.
Meanwhile, Malaysia's palm oil exports declined by 24.75 percent month on month to 1.02 million tons.
The country's palm oil imports, on the other hand, increased by 10.38 percent month on month to 32,556 tons. ■
