TUNIS, March 5 (Xinhua) -- An online shopping platform called "Souk Lemdina" has been launched to promote Tunisian handicrafts.
The platform offers a diverse range of craft products, ranging from artwork and decorations to fashion and wellness items, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship in Tunisia.
This platform is designed to provide support for local craftspeople and young entrepreneurs, the Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) reported.
According to TAP, customers will be able to purchase those handicrafts online and receive them anywhere in the world, thereby helping to preserve and promote traditional Tunisian craftsmanship while supporting the local economy. ■
