HANOI, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's pressure of corporate bonds maturing in 2024 remains significant, as many businesses need to pay large amount of money in bonds that are due for investors, Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday.

As of Feb. 23, 2024, the total value of corporate bonds due this year is 258.2 trillion dong (10.5 million U.S. dollars), according to the latest data compiled by the Vietnam Bond Market Association, the Hanoi Stock Exchange and the State Securities Commission.

Among them, 38 percent of the bond value nearing maturity belongs to the real estate group followed by the banking group.

According to Hanoi Stock Exchange, a series of bonds maturing in 2024 were issued by non-listed or newly established real estate companies.
