BEIJING, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League (CSL) club Beijing Guoan announced on Wednesday that they have terminated contract with South Korean player Kang Sang-Woo by mutual consent.
"The club has completed the termination of the contract with Mr Kang Sang-Woo after friendly consultation," said the Beijing club in a brief statement.
The Korean player scored 13 goals in the 59 appearances since he joined the Beijing side in April 2022.
Beijing Guoan got off to a promising start in their 2024 CSL campaign after they beat Cangzhou Mighty Lions 2-0 last Saturday in their season opener.
