RABAT, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Germany discussed here on Monday ways to foster military cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, said a statement by the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces (FAR).
Moroccan Minister in charge of the National Defense Administration Abdeltif Loudyi, and Thomas Hitschler, parliamentary state secretary in the German Ministry of Defense, discussed cooperation in the areas of the fight against terrorism, illegal immigration, cross-border crime and illicit trafficking, the statement said.
The two officials expressed their willingness to further strengthen bilateral military cooperation, particularly in the fields of training, cyber defense and the defense industry, it added. ■
