TAIZHOU, March 1 (Xinhua) -- In Taizhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, private firms account for more than 99 percent of all enterprises, and the local authorities have continuously implemented diversified measures in recent years to promote high-quality development of the private economy.
In 2023 alone, the city recorded an industrial added value of 222.994 billion yuan (about 30.98 billion U.S. dollars), with new energy, high-tech and strategic emerging industries as the new propellers of its industrial development.
