KIEV, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- More than 90 percent of Ukrainian enterprises resumed operations despite the conflict with Russia, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Monday.

"Today, more than 90 percent of Ukrainian enterprises have resumed their work and are returning to their pre-war capacities," Shmyhal said at a business forum, themed "Made in Ukraine," in the capital city of Kiev.

Sectors such as construction, agriculture, domestic trade, and processing industry have seen the fastest pace of recovery, he said.

Main factors that helped keep Ukrainian businesses afloat amid the conflict are adaptability, crisis management, and state support programs, according to Shmyhal.

As of October 2023, about 840 enterprises in Ukraine had been relocated to safer regions in the country.

According to Ukraine's central bank, the country's gross domestic product increased by 5 percent in 2023 after a 29.2 percent contraction in 2022.
