HONG KONG, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Southern East Pacific Rise at 01:51:15 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 35.22 degrees south latitude and 110.81 degrees west longitude. ■
