PHNOM PENH, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's ruling Pheu Thai Party President Paetongtarn Shinawatra will pay a visit to Cambodia on March 18-19, said a ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP)'s statement on Friday.
"The exchange of high-level visits between the two parties is aimed at exchanging views on cooperation between the two neighboring countries for the sake of the two peoples and parties," the CPP statement said.
During the visit, Paetongtarn will hold talks with former Cambodian Prime Minister and CPP President Samdech Techo Hun Sen and pay a courtesy call on incumbent Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, among others, the statement added.
Paetongtarn's upcoming visit was announced after Hun Sen invited her on Wednesday when he visited Thaksin Shinawatra at his mansion in Bangkok. ■
