GUANGZHOU, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- A ship collided with a bridge in Nansha District of Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, causing the bridge to fracture and an unknown number of vehicles to plunge into the water.
Casualties from the accident are yet to be confirmed, and rescue efforts are underway. ■
