SOFIA, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- China won three gold medals here on Sunday at the 75th edition of Strandja, one of the oldest international boxing tournaments in Europe.
Yang Wenlu defeated Tetiana Dovgal of Ukraine by unanimous decision in the women's 60kg final, and Yang Liu beat Arundhati Choudhary of India 4-1 in the women's 66kg.
China's third gold medal went to Tuohetaerbieke Tanglatihan, who defeated Kristiyan Nikolov of Bulgaria 4-1 in the men's 80kg category.
Also on Sunday, China's Chang Yuan lost 4-1 to Stanimira Petrova of Bulgaria in the women's 54kg, and Wu Yu and Li Qian finished third in the women's 50kg and 75kg categories respectively.
The eight-day competition brought together 300 boxers from nearly 30 countries and regions. ■
