WUHU, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- Wuhu, a beautiful city in east China's Anhui Province, is a historical place boasting profound culture and scenic landscape. The Yangtze River, which flows through the city of Wuhu, has also witnessed the city's rapid development.
In recent years, Wuhu has made continuous efforts to restore the ecological environment of the Yangtze River. Greenways, recreational platforms, and Binjiang Park with ecological water purification functions have been built along the river, attracting more and more local residents and enhancing their well-being.
