HUANGSHAN, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- Locals in Shexian County, Huangshan City, east China's Anhui Province, are busy making fish-shaped lanterns in preparation for the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year, which falls on Feb. 10 this year.

The parade with fish-shaped lanterns is an important folk cultural activity in Shexian County. Every year, in the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar, it attracts tourists from all over the country.
