YANGON/JAKARTA, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- The festive vibe of the Chinese New Year is in full swing in Myanmar and Indonesia, with decorations and events featuring Chinese characteristics seen around cities.

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture. It offers a good opportunity for people to usher out the old and greet the new, enjoying family reunion after a whole year of hard work.

The Spring Festival falls on Feb. 10 this year to kick off the Year of the Dragon.
