RIYADH, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabian Oil Company, commonly known as Saudi Aramco, announced on Tuesday that it received a directive from the Saudi Energy Ministry to maximize sustainable capacity at 12 million barrels per day (MMBD).
The company said the order indicates that it shouldn't continue increasing the maximum sustainable capacity to 13 million barrels per day, according to Aramco's press release.
The company said that the state determines the maximum sustainable capacity under the Hydrocarbons Law, and it will update its capital spending guidance when its 2023 full-year results are announced in March. ■
