SINGAPORE, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Southeast Asian and Latin American cultures are slowly unravelling their mysteries at the National Gallery Singapore.

The gallery presents the "Tropical: Stories from Southeast Asia and Latin America" art exhibition from Nov. 18, 2023 to March 24, 2024, featuring over 200 paintings, sculptures, drawings, performances and immersive installations by more than 70 artists.

The exhibition is the world's first large-scale museum exhibition to take a comparative approach across the two regions united by their shared struggles against colonialism.
