KABUL, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan's capital Kabul welcomes its first snowfall of this winter, which relieves its polluted environment.
The snowfall has covered the mountains around Kabul city with a white blanket, bringing joyful children to play and enjoy the pleasant weather on the snowy ground.
The chilly winter in Afghanistan begins in December and lasts till mid-March the next year.
