Jan. 27 marks the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.
BRUSSELS, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Many European citizens went to historic sites to remember the Holocaust victims on Saturday.
In 2005, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution designating Jan. 27 as the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, the day when the Auschwitz death camp was liberated in 1945.
