KUALA LUMPUR, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- A second victim has been found following a deadly landslide in Malaysia's Pahang state on Friday, authorities said.
The second body was found near a structure used by workers on a vegetable farm, district police chief deputy superintendent Azri Ramli said in a briefing.
Azri said the search and rescue (SAR) team faced challenges due to several more landslides in the area.
Meanwhile, the Cameron Highlands district disaster management committee confirmed that all five victims are Myanmar nationals aged between 25 and 56.
Authorities had received a distress call at 2:51 a.m. local time (1851 GMT) informing them of the incident and had recovered the body of one victim soon after. The other three victims are still missing with search and rescue efforts currently underway. ■
