NEW DELHI -- Two children were killed and one person was critically injured Monday in an explosion at a firecracker store in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, police said.

YAOUNDE, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- At least 21 students were injured on Monday following a stampede at a secondary school in Cameroonian capital, Yaounde, according to an official.
Emmanuel Djikdent, prefect of Mfoundi division, where Yaounde is located, said the stampede happened at Lycee Etoug-Ebe, a government-run secondary school, when students were struggling to get to classes. (Cameroon-Stampede)

JAKARTA -- Three were killed after two motorcycles collided on a highway in the Indonesian regency of Mamuju in West Sulawesi province on Sunday evening, police told local media on Monday.

ISLAMABAD -- Seven terrorists were killed during a clash between security forces and terrorists in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the military said on Monday.
