YIXIAN, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Xidi and Hongcun, two ancient villages in Yixian County of east China's Anhui Province, were listed as world cultural heritage sites by UNESCO in 2000.
With exquisite homes, ancestral halls and memorial archways, Hui-style buildings of Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) are widely found.
Taking advantage of the Hui-style architecture and the picturesque pastoral scenery, the ancient villages are attracting more and more visitors.
