GAZA, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has exceeded 25,000, the Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Sunday.
The Israeli army killed 178 Palestinians and wounded 293 others in the Palestinian enclave over the past 24 hours, the ministry said in a press statement.
This has brought the total Palestinian deaths to 25,105 and injuries to 62,681 since the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out on Oct. 7, 2023, it said. ■
