KUALA LUMPUR, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Analysts have foreseen Malaysia's automotive sales to normalize in 2024 after record high car sales in 2023.
Hong Leong Investment Bank Research said in a note on Friday that it expects Malaysia's 2024 TIV to reach 720,000 units, down 10 percent year on year.
According to the research house, the projection was mainly due to declining order backlogs and easing new order intakes over the months. ■
