NANJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- A conference aimed at promoting global cooperation in industrial technology innovation was held from Thursday to Friday in Nanjing, capital city of east China's Jiangsu Province.
About 400 delegates from over 20 countries and regions attended the first Global Industrial Technology Innovation Cooperation Conference, co-hosted by the World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organization and the National Innovation Center par Excellence (NICE).
Delegates engaged in discussions on topics including international innovation cooperation, new materials, carbon neutrality, and advanced manufacturing.
A signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between NICE and six institutions from home and abroad, was also held at the conference.
Approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, NICE is positioned to promote the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements in collaboration with industries, universities and research institutes, as well as provide technologies and commercialization services for industrial development of China's Yangtze River Delta region. ■
