KAMPALA, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- The head coach of Uganda's Lady Cranes Rugby 7s team has praised the good organization of the China team that emerged victorious at the just concluded HSBC Rugby 7s Challenger in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

China beat Kenya 17-12 in the final to emerge winners in the women's category after defeating Uganda 45-5 at the semi-final stage.

Speaking to Xinhua, Uganda's coach Charles Onen made it clear that he was impressed with the level of organization of the China women's 7s team who started the competition well and lifted the trophy on the final day.

"I saw the China team from the start of the tournament looking very organized and determined to go all the way. When we faced them at the semifinal stage they were too good for us and we failed to master their game plan," said Onen who added that they learnt a lot from watching the China team and also playing against them.

Onen warned that the women's team of China will be a team to reckon with this season. He also made it clear that although his team lost to Argentina in the playoff for third place, they had gained a lot of exposure by playing in Dubai.

"Our players have gained more experience by facing the different teams we played against in Dubai. We are determined to keep getting better and better as we continue to play in many different international competitions," added Onen.

While China lifted the women's trophy, Kenya stopped Chile to win the men's trophy at the competition which concluded in Dubai.
