CHENGDU, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Chengdu Jiaozi Financial Conference was held in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Friday, with the aim of accelerating the building of a financial center in the country's western region.
A thousand years ago, the world's earliest banknote -- Jiaozi -- was unveiled in Chengdu. Themed "Jiaozi culture and fintech, innovative exploration of western financial center construction," the Chengdu Jiaozi Financial Conference was held at the Jiaozi Financial Museum.
