MADRID, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona will be without Brazilian winger Raphinha for the next month, with the player a major doubt for its UEFA Champions League tie against Napoli in February.
The club confirmed on Friday that Raphinha tore his left hamstring in the 42nd minute of its 2-0 win over Osasuna in the semifinal of the Spanish Super Cup in Riyadh on Thursday night.
The Brazilian limped out of the game and was replaced by teenager Lamine Yamal, who scored Barca's second goal in the win.
The injury sees Raphinha join Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Inigo Martinez, Marcos Alonso, Joao Cancelo and Gavi in the treatment room, and means he will miss Sunday's final against Real Madrid, La Liga matches against Real Betis, Villarreal, Osasuna, Alaves, Granada and Celta Vigo, as well as next week's Copa del Rey tie away to Unionistas de Salamanca.
The good news for Barca is that Spain midfielder Pedri returned to action after his latest muscle injury as a second-half substitute on Thursday night and will be able to play at least some part against Real Madrid. ■
