KABUL, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- "Kangana" is a traditional Afghan way of freshness-preservation. An airtight container made of mud, which is called "Kangana", can keep grapes fresh for months.

In Afghanistan, the season of grapes starts from June and lasts until September. Storing grapes in "Kangana" in late September or early October can keep the fruit fresh until May next year.
