JAKARTA, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- A month ahead of the Chinese Lunar New Year, vendors selling Chinese New Year decorations have set up sales stalls in Glodok Pancoran, the Chinatown of Indonesia's capital city Jakarta.
Decorations featuring auspicious festive vibes, including traditional red lanterns, spring couplets, Chinese knots and peach blossoms, fill the Chinatown, attracting people to buy New Year's goods while enjoying the joyous atmosphere.
The Chinese Lunar New Year, which falls on Feb. 10 this year, is the most important occasion for the Chinese to celebrate family reunions and anticipate blessings for the lunar new year.
