YANGON, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported 953,502 tons of rice and broken rice in the first nine months of the fiscal year 2023-24, earning 462 million U.S. dollars from the export, according to data released recently by the Myanmar Rice Federation.
During the nine months, December brings the most export revenue, earning 99 million dollars, the data showed.
The exports in December included 101,156 tons of rice and 94,672 tons of broken rice.
The Southeast Asian country exported rice and broken rice to more than 20 countries and regions including Indonesia, the Philippines, China, Poland, Malaysia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Vietnam. ■
