KATHMANDU, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- People were busy celebrating Sakela Udhauli festival in Kathmandu, Nepal, dressing up in traditional attire and dancing to offer thanks to mother nature for providing a good harvest.
Sakela Udhauli is the largest festival of the Kirat community in Nepal and celebrated for 15 days, featuring dances round in a big circle to music played on instruments like the madal and the dhol.
