DHAKA, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- At least four people were killed as a passenger train caught fire in Bangladeshi capital Dhaka on Friday night.
Local media reported that unidentified miscreants torched the Benapole Express passenger train at 9:05 p.m. local time in the capital's Gopibagh area. The fire came under control at 10:20 p.m.
Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Iqbal Hossain told journalists that the identity of the four deceased people could not be known immediately.
He said that seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire.■
