SUVA, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- A casino is expected to be set up in Nadi, Fiji's third-largest city, once the proposal is accepted by the Fijian government, investors said on Wednesday.
The 2-billion-Fijian dollar (around 907 million U.S. dollars) investment is believed to help boost the tourism and real estate sectors in Fiji.
The investment team is currently working on the groundwork, conducting consultations before submitting the application to the government for approval of the business license.
Tourism remains Fiji's fastest-growing industry and is the largest foreign exchange earner for the country. ■
