HONG KONG, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted 116 km SSW of Isangel, Vanuatu at 01:59:40 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 20.53 degrees south latitude and 168.91 degrees east longitude. ■
