BEIJING, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 11 km SSE of San Fernando, Peru at 1136 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 12.6 km, was initially determined to be at 8.50 degrees south latitude and 74.51 degrees west longitude. ■
