GAZA, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- UN officials and aid agencies have raised alarms about "a humanitarian crisis" in Gaza, including mass starvation and disease, as a vast majority of the region's 2.3 million people have been displaced during the ongoing conflict.
Nearly 20,000 Palestinians have been killed since Israel declared war on Hamas, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza, and there are still thousands more buried under the rubble, according to the U.N. estimates.
