RAMALLAH, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- At least four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli raid in the northern West Bank city of Tubas, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on Monday.
In a brief statement sent to Xinhua, the ministry said four young men were killed after being hit by live bullets during clashes with the Israeli army in the Al-Far'a refugee camp in southern Tubas.
Meanwhile, local Palestinian sources told Xinhua that the Israeli army stormed the camp for an hour, closed its entrances, and surrounded a house amid heavy gunfire, which they said led to the killing of the four young men.
So far, 301 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank since the eruption of the new round of the Israel-Hamas conflict on Oct. 7, according to statistics from the ministry. ■
