Juventus missed out on top of the Serie A standings following a 1-1 draw away to Genoa.
ROME, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Juventus shared the spoils with Genoa at 1-1 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Serie A on Friday.
The Bianconeri, who had been unbeaten in their 10 outings before Friday, broke the deadlock in the 28th minute when Federico Chiesa converted a spot-kick earned by himself.
The home side got back on level terms straight after the break as Caleb Ekuban nodded for Albert Gudmundsson to hit in a volley.
Juve had the chance to grab a last-gasp winner, but Genoa goalkeeper Josep Martinez completed a fine save to deny Bremer's strike.
With the tie, Juve stay second with 37 points, one point behind Inter Milan who visit Lazio on Sunday. ■
