ISLAMABAD -- A policeman and two paramilitary troops were killed and seven others injured in two separate attacks in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the wee hours of Friday morning, police sources said.

In one incident, two paramilitary troops of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) were killed and six others, including five FC personnel and a policeman, were injured when militants attacked their joint check post in Khyber tribal district of the province, the sources told Xinhua.
