SANTIAGO, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Colo-Colo secured their 14th Copa Chile title on Wednesday by recovering from a goal down to clinch a 3-1 victory over Magallanes in the final.
Joaquin Larrivey handed Magallanes an early lead by converting from the penalty spot at Estadio Tierra de Campeones in the northern city of Iquique.
Emiliano Amor put his team on level terms with an 18th-minute strike before Fernando Pinero gifted Colo-Colo the lead with an own goal.
Vicente Pizarro scored his team's third goal by taking a touch and then firing a low effort into the bottom right corner.
"I'm happy for the players because they deserved to win something this year," Colo-Colo manager Gustavo Quinteros told reporters after the match.
The result marked Colo-Colo's third triumph in the competition in the past four seasons. ■
