CHATTOGRAM, Bangladesh, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- The arrival of parakeet flocks to the vast paddy fields in Bangladesh's southeastern Chattogram region is an invasion as the appetite of the voracious red-green parrots threatens the harvest.
Local paddy farmers fear a huge loss this season due to the parakeet invasion.
